They reached me on the phone and asked if I was interested in the software engineering position.
Afterward, they sent a small project and a few technical questions. After this stage, they organized a meeting with the human resources manager and one of the founding partners, and we talked about both my experience and the company. At the end of the meeting, they asked me to do a much more complex project this time. The project was complex, which under normal circumstances could take 3-4 days. I completed it in 2 days with a little hard work.
At the last stage, I received an e-mail saying they preferred a different candidate. It's a complete waste of time. There are always software positions open, but I doubt they are really looking for software developers to hire.

Recruiter explained the company structure and its previous and on going projects. Also she gave some information about developers team. She kindly asked personal questions about previous experiences and forwarded a challenge to measure skills of the programming language.
