The initial phone screening took place around the end of February - beginning of March 2017. My application was regarding a position for the department that would be opened in another city in Greece. The phone interview started with some basic Java questions, and afterwards, the questions were focused on its in-depth knowledge and aspects. In the end, the interviewer informed me that he will be following up with me in the near future. Several days passed, without follow up. I reached out to HR on mid-March 2017 for a follow up and I am still awaiting for a reply ever since. It is at least discouraging for a graduate to be treated in such way. Companies and organisations like these are the main reason greek graduates are leaving the country.
