I had one interview and then an onsite. The recruiter was very responsive and the process moved along fairly quickly. On the day of the onsite, I had one portfolio presentation and 3 interviews. The team was friendly and the interview there were whiteboard design exercises in each of the 3 rounds.

Started with a simple screening with a recruiter over a virtual meeting, then it was followed by technical interview with someone from a product team with standard design process questions, previous experience, etc

Received an internal referral. Got contacted by recruiter several weeks later when they already had an offer out to a candidate. Call went great and was told if the candidate declined, I'd talk with the hiring manager. Was told I'd receive an update and was ghosted instead. Bad form especially from an internal referral.
