Has an interview in Arups Kowloon (HK) office for a 'graduate engineer position', wasn't told that the interview would be for the bridges department prior to the interview. I arrived in a suit and tie and was interviewed by two employees, one of which was about 22 and was wearing a purple windbreaker (made the interview process seem very unprofessional). Was barely asked about myself. The main interview question had 3 proposed bridges (indicated by lines on a map) and you had to select which one you would build. The map had no scale and was presented on an A4 piece of paper, making the contours almost unrecognisable. They had an english proficiency test where you had to write an answer the question "how do you define success?" The interviewers attempted to illustrate some bending moment questions on paper however didn't specify anything about the supports, spans or forces. Was quite an appalling interview. Nevertheless I was offered the job but declined based on the poor professionalism of the interview process.
