J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 5 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Arup (Leeds, England) en mai 2023
Entretien
Initial telephone interview with internal recruiter, asked about general skills and why I applied for the role, and the company. Had a formal interview scheduled for 4 weeks later (which felt like a long delay). Formal interview was with 2 team members, asked generic questions around skill set, why I wanted to work for Arup, then around more specific things about how I'd help with project implementation, organising people across multiple teams via face to face and over online, etc. Was really friendly and made me feel very comfortable. Thought the interview went really well, but in the end they were looking for maternity cover to start 1 month after the interview date and I have a 3 month notice period. This was a shame as I made it clearly from the moment of application that this was the case, and even made it clear in the telephone interview but told it didn't matter. I didn't get an offer for the job and sadly didn't hear back which put a dampener on the whole process because until then I would have seen it as a positive experience. It takes little to send a rejection email for someone who spent the time applying and doing 2 interviews.

Entretien
First intervirew with line manager and a peer. Second interview with a director. Friendly and relaxed environment. They were dressed a lot more casual than I was. More of a conversation than an interview.

Question 1
Previous experience in a similar role. They did not have pre-prepared questions for me. It was more of a conversation.
