I applied for a different position via email. The hiring manager for this department contacted me to see if I would be interested in this particular position. Had a one on one interview with him and he then brought in his lead to interview me. Interview went well. 4 months passed before I received an email that I will be getting a verbal offer. The interview process is extremely slow.

Was very typical interview process. Not many difficult questions. Mostly focused on past experience and how it would apply to position. Process took about a month. Offer was extended and accepted.
