Responded to a job posting and had an initial phone screen that I was told was going to be about my resume and experience. Turned out 20 minutes of it was technical questions that weren't terribly difficult, but were partially on no longer relevant classical results. I definitely would have appreciated the chance to look over some notes had I known that was going to be part of the first screen. I was told at the beginning of the call there would be a third of our one hour call devoted to my questions. At exactly 59 minutes into the call I was told now I could get in a question or two. I didn't bother but after thinking about it the next day I reached out to my point of contact who was nice enough to talk to me on the phone separately to answer my questions about the role and about working at ARM.
I must have done OK because I was offered a second round, which was a remote coding interview in a Google Doc. The interview was in python and the questions were extremely easy. My interviewer didn't seem to have a good grasp of python though, on at least 3 occasions he told me code that I wrote wouldn't work, when it objectively would (it was pretty simple python stuff too, 'for item not in list' was one example I was told wouldn't work.) He also told me a claimed nlog(n) runtime was not nlog(n) (it was), and a few other similar things. I was polite and offered to rewrite the code a different way each time.
The second interviewer also told me he had no idea when to expect to hear back and I would have to reach out to my original point of contact.
I wasn't particularly impressed after this, but was headed directly out of town for two weeks. I came back and hadn't heard a word from anyone, and decided to let my point of contact know I would be withdrawing my application. He never bothered to respond.

The process went well and smoothly. The director is very nice and friendly, with very smooth warm-up openings. The interview occurred after the case study was completed or the home assignment was delivered. The main purpose was to go through the entire assignment and the relevant code (C++), and I was then given additional small tasks for live coding during the interview.
