Attended three rounds of assessment in the following order - Tech screening, technical assignment and professional technical interview.
The external recruiter was constantly in touch throughout to schedule the interview. The technical assignment I completed was received very well by the panel. I'd spent around 10-12 hours on the exercise and was given a 1 day deadline, so I submitted the assignment within a day itself.
After the third round of interview, I waited the longest (little more than a week) during this whole process to receive some kind of feedback or information on the next steps. Since there was no response from anyone, I called the recruitment agency to find out about the status and they told me that my candidature was not being taken ahead and that the HR at the company was supposed to reach out to me regarding this.
Highly unprofessional and unethical conduct by the HR team at the company. A candidate, after participating in multiple rounds of interview and especially after spending extra time to complete a technical exercise, deserves a feedback or at the very least some sort of response from an employer about their decision.
Please respect and value candidates' time and effort. I hope the HR/hiring team can learn from all the negative reviews posted here and improve their processes.
