It took a full month from application to a first interview, which turned out to be a 30-minute screening call with an HR representative. The conversation was heavily focused on headcounts from my previous roles, yet when I asked about the headcount for the country they were hiring in, the recruiter couldn't answer. Two weeks of silence followed before I received a generic rejection email saying the hiring manager had chosen another candidate.
The interview questions were surface-level, and the recruiter seemed to have limited knowledge about the local market or the role itself. The whole thing felt like an HR person trying to justify their work by booking interviews rather than conducting a meaningful evaluation. Beyond the process, the company's product offering and value proposition remain unclear to me. It was difficult to understand what they actually do or where they're headed.
Overall, I'd recommend doing your research before investing time in their interview process.
