Applied online. After the resume screen there was a quick call with a recruiter to go over experience in the area for the team, why I am looking, and what I want out of my next role. The next round was two separate 1 hour interviews. First was an a fairly traditional algorithms/data structure style interview covering 2 problems in a shared coding environment. The second was a system design round with a manager discussing how I would handle the backend of a service that corresponds to the UI mockup that they provided. It was technical but conversational. The final round was a 1-hour interview with the Director of Engineering. This was at a yet higher level still, dealing more with behavioural questions, project management, communication skills, and overall software development lifecycle philosophies and related critiques. Overall everyone was generally on time, friendly, and professional.

I did get a call from the recruiter after finding my LinkedIn profile to set up the interview and had 2 technical rounds of interviews (algorithms, system design) and then I got a call from the recruiter that they want to proceed with an offer and want to clear some logistics and work authorization and after that, there was no communication made to me about the next steps. I did send a follow-up email 2 weeks later but the recruiter failed to acknowledge and respond to that which is not something unexpected.
