Applied Materials came to our college midway through the placement schedule and by that time many students had already got placed in other companies. So only 20 odd students aapeared for the test. Due to this they did not coduct the first round Second round was a coding round where we were given a few questions and one hour to code it. Questions included Q1. Find how many bits are there in a byte in hypothetical computer where 1 byte is not equal to 8 bits Q2. Program to find square root of a no upto 2 decimal places Q3. Create a hash fuction for every word in Oxford Dictionary Q4. Program to find 2nd largest element in an array Three students were selected to the final round. Program logic and efficency of code was tested. In the third round, they only asked a few brain teasers. The placement procedure only took a total of about 3 hrs only
