Haven't even heard back from the second round, but know I wouldn't be taking this job even if they offered it. The interview with the hiring manager was the worst interview experience I've ever had. After no-showing with no notice the first time around, we rescheduled for the next week, only to have them cancel last minute, and reschedule again for the next day. Then for that interview, she finally shows up 7 minutes late for a 30 minute interview, no apology, no explanation, and seeming disinterested before I said a word. She asked me 2 questions about myself and then said that was it and opened it up for questions, so I tried to get the conversation flowing and asked her several open-ended questions about her day-to-day, the culture, and the projects they were working on. For half of them, she redirected me to news articles with surface level details for her projects and the Anthropic website because answering would have been too difficult I guess, then gave short, generic answers for the rest. Literally the worst interview experience I could imagine having after being so excited about the role initially.
