Initial recruiter call which was pretty conversational. Few high level/open ended questions like "Why Anduril?" but mostly logistical stuff for the recruiter to fill out. Got sent straight to "Virtual Onsite" with panel and technical presentation, but sounds like usually there's another technical interview before that final stage. Three engineers on panel, after presentation went into individual interviews split into "Technical," "Problem Solving," and "Behavioral." Technical was a lot of mechanics of materials questions (stress strain curve, material properties, etc). Problem Solving was a more multifaceted conversion which progressed through design considerations for a firefighting water bucket attached to a drone helicopter. Free body diagrams, winch power - "How would the design handle this problem" type stuff. Behavioral discussed additional questions from presentation, other typical behavioral questions, "What's your LEAST favorite Anduril product?"

(1) Phone call with recruiter, (2) Call with hiring manager, (3) Onsite panel: presentation and 4 separate 30 min interviews. Onsite interview were mostly white board technical problems... basic ME dynamics, structures, materials, GD&T etc.
First a screening with the hiring manager. Then an onsite presentation and interviews with individual team members. The overall experience was positive and gave a good opportunity to understand the company and its culture. I would recommend interviewing there.

A 3rd party company will probably call you first and make it seem like youre the best candidate they have ever seen, then you will get a phone call interview with a low level engineer in the company who has mediocre social skills and then you will move on to a manager who has below average social skills and also a very busy schedule so they might miss your interview a couple times
