I'll share my experience of going through an interview for the position of Project Manager (trainee program). It was an interview for a training program that promised employment with a probationary period afterward. I received a message with all the details of the stages and candidate requirements right away. It's worth noting that candidates were not required to have 100% (perfect) knowledge in this field, as the program was designed to improve their skills. The entire interview process consisted of four stages: 1 - Test task (nothing complex or special, a standard task for a position of this type). 2 - Interview in English (a standard check of language proficiency). 3 - General interview in Russian (this stage was filled with template tasks, such as those about diggers, and then more intricate tasks were introduced to assess the candidate's skills). 4 - Technical interview (HR and two technical specialists were present at the interview, following the usual pattern). The entire process took more than three weeks, and after each stage, I requested feedback to identify the areas where I had gaps so that I could work on improving them. Cons: I didn't receive any feedback from either HR or the technical specialists after 2 weeks (i've sent the reminders once a week). After the fourth stage, HR informed me that I didn't pass, citing that my knowledge wasn't 100% perfect (despite different information in the internship requirements). Instead of providing clear feedback, they suggested I interview for an internship in the sales department. After that, HR didn't respond for a week, and the technical specialists sent empty messages saying, "you'll get a response." I do not recommend this company and its internship program. Expectations and reality are very different. Communication - 2/10.

It was the first, HR-screening, HR was very nice, and open to discussion. I felt comfortable talking about my experience and asking questions. We discussed my experience, discussed current position and what our next steps will be. All the questions made sense and aimed to learn more about my experience, not some generic situations.
