The interviewers seemed like they didn't know what position I'm applying to. When I directly asked about my position, I was told there is no fixed position and I will be working for a project that will be in need of a developer.
I wasn't asked any questions directly related to the position I was applying. Most of them were questions about theory, or definitions.
There were a few other questions, but their choice seemed weird
- Even though I clearly stated that in my job we use C# 8, I was asked which features of C# 9 we use at work
- When stating I've developed a small server side Blazor application, I was asked to compare client side Blazor performance to JS this was also weird taking into account there was no Blazor in the job description
- I have received at least a few more questions about technologies that were not in the Job description
- I was asked which version of .Net is the latest one and after replying it's .Net 5 I could tell that interviewers didn't think it's a valid answer, when asked about that they said that this answer is enough for them.
- I was asked about my reasons of changing the job which seems weird for a technical interview, but after stating my reasons, the interviewers tried questioning them which seemed unacceptable
After answering some questions I asked if this is enough or if I should further elaborate, they've confirmed my answers are right. Despite that I've received the feedback that those questions were answered incorrectly.
Anyway, receiving a post interview feedback was a plus anyway.
