I applied for the Manufacturing Technician position online at the Red Cross career page. I was notified, one week later, for an interview at the facility.
I was interviewed by two people, the manager of operations and a shift supervisor. I was asked general questions such as:
Tell about yourself,
Do you work well in groups?
Why should I hire you?
What are your experiences and skills?
And many other behavioral questions. For this position, they were looking for a team player who can follow instructions and handle stressful situations. Then I was asked if I had any questions. This part of the interview is CRITICAL. I asked many questions relating to job. Technical questions and questions about the staff were thoroughly discussed and answered by the interviewers. Then I was given a tour of the manufacturing department in which I asked relevant questions about the process and products.
One week after the interview, I was given an offer for the position - which I gladly accepted. I then was given forms to complete, background checks, drug testing material to prepare myself.
One week after the offer, I was scheduled for the new employee orientation which lasts a week from 8am-5pm.
It took me one month from applying to getting a job at the American Red Cross as a manufacturing technician.

Question 1
There weren't many difficult questions, just how you answered and related your skills and experience to the position.
Basic interview process. Applied online through Glassdoor, phone screen was pleasant and easy and you are really made to feel like they want you as a part of the org. 3 days later on person interview was in a similar vein, very relaxed and laid back. The HR is centralized so they made the process a little harder than it needed to be but overall a good experience.

I applied for the job through an online job board. I was then contacted for more information and to fill out a form to see if I was a good fit for the company. After submitting this information, it was reviewed and I was eventually contacted to come in for an interview. I met with the manager of the department and was given a tour and a quick interview. Soon after I was offered the position I applied for.

I first received an email notifying me that I was being considered about a week later I did a phone interview which was easy the HR lady just basically wanted to establish that I had a degree. I was then scheduled for an in person interview they were very friendly and the conversation flowed well. After the interview they gave me a tour of the work area and I met the other team members. They did let me know that they were considering many candidates for this 1 position and I would know by next week. The next day I received an email informing me that I did not get the job.
