Entretien
I had one phone interview and one in person interview with the AMR. All three people I interviewed with (one on the phone and two in person) were friendly and professional; all were easy to talk to. At the in person interview, the office and work culture seemed laid back and somewhat casual but professional.

Question 1
The questions about mistakes I have made professionally. It was maybe more about how the question was phrased than the actual question itself that made it unexpected. I was expecting questions about growth or how I've learned something, but assuming I've made some giant mistake that I've needed to learn a lot from seem accusatory.

After applying online I received an invitation to interview onsite within a few days. This was an easy process and I was able to go in for an interview the following week. Once arriving to the organization the front desk did not greet me; she was eating her lunch and ignored me for several minutes. I then waited a few minutes and was brought to the room to be interviewed. The two women asked very general questions; it was a very relaxed and casual interview.

Submitted resume online. Was contacted by Development Director and went in for 2 different interviews. One one on one and my second interview was first with the team and then with the Executive Director and the Development Director. It took months to get through since they were helping with a disaster at the time I applied. The process is not the same anymore since national has taken over protocol at the local level. Everything goes through National HR and they then send the selected resumes to the next level. Some positions are even narrowed down more by divisional or regional before the local level exec or director has any say so with those in the pool.
