Interviewers asked pointed questions about dealing with problematic colleagues which echoed negative comments from current and former employees on Glassdoor. When asked about these comments, they had nothing positive to share about how they're working to improve employee satisfaction. Also had very poor experience with HR. Offered me the job but wouldn't share details on benefits and time off. I would've brushed it off as a mistake but the person was argumentative on the phone and would send one line responses without answering my questions. Not a great way to welcome a prospective new team member at all. These interactions turned me off completely. I ultimately decided not to ignore all the red flags along the way.

The interview process was very long. It took about 5+ weeks. I noticed after my 1st round of interviewing that the posting was removed from LinkedIn and their website. It began to raise eyebrows about whether or not they were choosing an internal candidate. Anyway, I still went through the entire process. I finally met with the hiring manager--which was odd this was the last step instead of first. It seemed like she wasn't really interested in meeting with me. However, I finally got to interview with her. She says they were looking to have the person start middle of the month. Well, that seemed like a very short timeline due to the fact that I was interviewing a few days shy of the middle of the month. After me sending two follow-up emails, the recruiter finally got back to me and told me that they had selected an internal candidate who had interviewed before for the position. I was told that I was runner up and that I was a perfect candidate. I wish they had of not wasted my time with dragging me through the entire process and then waiting two weeks to even get back to me with their decisions. It was agonizing as a job seeker. The recruiter said that the hiring team recommended that I apply for another position. I haven't done so because I just don't know if it'll be a waste of time preparing.
