The entire day was a lie and a joke. I was recruited on Facebook for a management position. I showed up to the interview with 20 plus people waiting to interview as well. I was given a generic form to fill out that asked the basics and then sat and waited. I was supposed to interview with a "Hiring Manager" but he was stuck in another interview and I "Interviewed" with some one else. I put Interviewed in quotes because it wasn't an interview, it was a screening. I was asked for my resume, asked 3 questions and then he told me he wanted to move me to the second part of the interview. I was moved into a conference room with half of the other people from the first room. I then sat through an hour and a half speech on the company and how much money I could make on their commissioned insurance sales. I then had to fill out another form, a personality test...On a scale of 1-10 how competitive are you ect. Then one of the "Hiring Managers" came back in the room and said they were going to pull us one by one to answer questions. After waiting another 30 minutes, I was finally able to meet with one, and he asked how I was feeling about the company. I said "I'm very frustrated, I was lied to by your recruiter. I was told I was interviewing for a management position and this is apparently sales." His reply "Well, if you think about it, everything in life is sales, so every job you ever work is sales." I kept trying to ask questions, but he kept cutting me off to tell me about the money I could make. 3 hours later, I was finally able to get out of there. Do your research on this company. They lie to get applicants, you have to supply your own laptop, you have to pay for your own training, and you could end up owing the company money if you sign someone up for insurance and they back out.
