Entretien
Went through an interview process with the host organization. Minimal contact with anyone from the federal AmeriCorps office. All online. Only one round of interviews as well as a supplemental questionnaire.
Met directly with the host organization and applied directly to their listing. Did not meet with any staff from the national AmeriCorps Office. A phone interview and panel video interview.
The interview process is a bit lengthy. You have a longer interview which consist of learning a bit more of Americorps and the services they provide. Then it’s the process of placement that can take awhile.
