I completed the mock call center survey online. And got a call a day or two after to come in. When I came in,the receptionist was sweet(found out she graduated the same year as me from school, weird she knew my face apparently) and asked me to do a basic math question in sales. Once completed I went to a computer station and listened in on two real recorded calls from there specific center and was to rate one of them. After that, the HR manager called me and another person to tell us a a little bit of the branch we're being interviewed for and then asked us what do we see ourselves in the company. I lied and said in a management position(I'm not planning on staying for more than three years just until I finish my degree in aviation for air traffic controller).
After that I went to lunch because I was scheduled for another interview with the DIRECT TV sales manager. She was very sweet and easy to speak with. Me and two other people one I was in the first interview with was assessed by her and in how we communicate by performing a mock call interaction using the panel(a outline of what we say and do). After that she gave us a tour of the facility(which looked a little disorderly). She walked us back explaining the importance of no phones and our badges and then left us with a person to conduct a drug test(DIRECT TV requires a drug test) after that we were given packages to read and sign with the date of our orientation (luckily it was the Monday coming up, but I had to reschedule because the class was full, so me and the other two in the interview with me get first priority in the class. I'm to go to it 10/20/14) after that she smiled and said congrats in being hired. And HR manager said it too, whispering,"i knew you were gonna get it"(high turnover).
I arrived at 9 and the interview ended at 2:30. I was nervous since I'm young with little experience(but more in comparison to those who were older) like all the interviews here and reviews they hired nearly anyone.
