- Apply to LinkedIn job posting (have to go through their website)
- Get email to proceed with 1st assessment (multiple choice questionnaire online), time to complete 52 (!) minutes (why not an hour?).
- Get 2nd email to proceed with 2nd assessment within 3 days - create a test automation framework for a fake API (framework from scratch, scenarios, CI/CD, reports) without clear requirements.
- Wait for them to evaluate the deliverables - at this point, I haven't had the chance to ask a single question about the company or anything else related to the job
- Technical interview. General questions related to pipelines, mocking of services, etc. It seems like they have a very narrow vision of what the candidate should know beforehand. Walkthrough of the provided solution - it would be nice for the interviewers to spend a few minutes reviewing the deliverables before the interview.
General feeling: they don't want to spend any time on the interviewee. I get that you have to go through a lot of people interviewing for the same position, but why should I spend a week of my free time on various assessments without even having the opportunity to talk to someone and get some insight into the job?
And of course, you'll never hear back from them after the final interview, which they reassured me, without me even asking for it, that HR will contact me regardless of the outcome.
