They’ll ask: Why insurance? Why Allstate? Do you have sales experience? Are you comfortable with cold calling, upselling, and meeting quotas? Are you already licensed? (If not, they check if you’re willing to get your OTL/LLQP depending on the role.) It’s very straightforward — they mostly check if you can handle a sales-heavy, target-driven job.

I interviewed at Allstate in East Meadow in 2014 with Dan Ratkewitch. The interview consisted of a few standard questions you'd expect on any sales/customer service related interview. The initial interview went well and Dan allowed me to come back into the office for a short trial on the phone speaking to real potential clients. I thought that was very helpful and a practical way to gage if I could see myself doing this role full time. I wound up not pursing candidacy further but both portions of the interview were very fair, transparent and informativ.
