Applied online via Allegiant Travel careers/employment page. Once applied, received confirmation to pursue a virtual interview, that took place two days later. The initial hiring process starts with this interview, which consists of 5 questions that may practiced and re-recorded twice before final submission. Next step, candidate is invited to schedule a face-to-face in person interview at undisclosed location, depending on the city or area you applied for. This confirmation took 2 weeks, and the in person interview was scheduled 3 weeks from that date. Once your slot is confirmed for the flight attendant info/interview session, you are then asked to be on time, memorize an inflight announcement, bring one copy of your resume with two forms of photo ID. While at the info/interview session, candidates break off into smaller groups (Round 1) and are asked to recite the inflight announcement and answer skilled and character based questions relating to your own professional or personal experiences in the workplace. A few questions that are ask during this time do pertain to the company's core values. If you are asked to stick around after Round 1, during Round 2 you are given paperwork to fill out and are asked to meet with an Allegiant Travel Member for a 1:1 interview. During this time, you may highlight any key roles on your resume that you feel you want to elaborate on. The Allegiant Rep then will ask you a series of questions were you are required to use the STAR interview technique in your responses. The info/interview session took about 4 hours. I recommend a full night's rest, professional business attire, and a positive and outgoing attitude. Following the info/interview session, the interview process continues with the candidate having to submit 5 references, paperwork including fingerprint and background check. Then the candidate will be notified of the next steps in the process. Essentially at this point, the candidate will either be invited to attend the 4 Week Training for the Flight Attendant position or their paper work didn't fit the requirements needed.
