      Pros: One of the best recruiting experiences I’ve had. The team was incredibly supportive and communicative, checking in after each stage and offering helpful insights to prepare for what’s next. It made the process feel transparent and well-organized. Cons: The interview process is long and can be intense. After completing two assignments and three interviews (with the recruiter and hiring managers), the final step includes several interviews with people from different teams. While the recruiting team does a great job preparing you, be aware that some questions—especially in the final round—can be based on unrealistic or overly hypothetical scenarios.

      The interview process at Algolia was a great experience, I reached the 3rd stage: 1st - Interview with Talent Requisition (Florent) 2nd - Interview with Senior Manager CSM (Laura) 3rd - Assessment The team were very engaging and the chats were informal which allowed for a more relaxed interview. They asked general interview questions regarding my experience, it was clear from the beginning that they are looking for both a great fit within the team and a tech savy individual. Throughout my experience Florent was great, very knowledgeable and provided me with a lot of valuable information regarding the role and the company in my first interview. Laura was amazing too! I felt very comfortable talking to her, she has a very calming presence and will be a great manager for the successful candidate. Once I was told I was unsuccessful Florent arranged a call with me to run through the feedback on why they were not moving forward with my application which was very informative and will help me moving forward in my job search (basically I'm not tech savy enough). The only negative point I would mention is that the assessment is quite difficult as you are asked to use their product and answer questions on it which is difficult when you've never seen or used it before. There's only so much research you can do the rest I believe needs to be learnt (on the job) which is challenging when doing this for several interviews while working full time.

      General interview questions Assessment - Algolia provide a document of emails from customers and you have to respond accordingly with the information they are requesting (quite challenging)

      Entretien

      A call with the recruiter, two video calls with the hiring manager and an on site visit. They will give you a take home assignment that is super easy to complete. You should be able to complete it in less than 15 minutes.
