Call from HR for phone screen. Moved to hiring manager, very sweet person. Moved to group interview, nobody had their camera on. Was asked extremely generic open ended questions on the definitions of protocols, like text book definition that you normally google or memorize for a cert, not just the general concept answer. Was then asked questions that were not on my resume, they then doubled down with a smirking laugh saying it is on my LinkedIn. Guess what, it wasn’t. Didn’t even apologize. When asking for more specifics on the question they give you, for instance “user can’t access SAML app what do u do.” Asking “is it a group of users? A specific user? Were any changes made to the app recently?” You won’t get an answer but a generic you tell us response. This immediate tells me that they are not fostering of a teaching culture, but instead a toxic rat race where everybody is for themselves. If you want to one up your coworkers and feel mentally superior instead of having an open ended discussion, this is the place for you.
