1st - phone screen with the lead technical recruiter, went great
2nd - one week later, on site interview loop
- 30 minutes with lead technical recruiter
- 30 minutes with senior developer (behavior and technical)
- 2 hours with 3 developers mob programming
- 30 minutes with hiring manager
Overall the entire day was great. I got along with everyone and it was a great experience.
3rd - four days after loop, 60 minutes - technical phone screen with the Director of Engineering. Solved the problem, when looking at it afterwards, would have refactored it and solved it differently.
4th - zero contact from POO recruiters despite repeated emails of inquiry on next steps. FINALLY I get an email, several weeks later from a software engineering manager that I had never met, inviting me to do a take home coding challenge. I completed the challenge in one week.
I finally received a rejection after 8 weeks of no responses to any emails, saying they decided to go with someone with more experience.
Super unprofessional behavior by the entire recruiting team.
