Applied online and the recruiter reached out for the initial phone screen. The call with the recruiter was standard, but a bit rushed - seemed as if she was merely going through a checklist of questions. At the end of the call she said she wanted me to meet with the Hiring Manager. I scheduled the call with the Hiring Manager and before the interview happened, received a generic email saying they would not be moving forward as the position had been filled.
I understand that things always change and can do so quickly throughout the interview process. Experience seemed uncoordinated and poorly managed. Company is doing some really cool things in the FinTech space - its unfortunate the first interaction the company has with candidates is so spotty.
