I think I'm the first Korean to post the interview experience with Adjust, so hopefully it helps all the Korean candidates as well as those from all over the world! The sad thing is that I had to deny the offer after passing all the process because of my personal reason. However, I highly recommend this company to everyone who desires to work in a striving and growing business of global scale, with strong support and care from APAC and HQ. I am convinced that I had the most exciting and pleasing interview experience. Some of the strengths that I mention here could be due to its relatively small size so far (expending very fast however), but I'd like to focus on essentials, which could be kept the same even as the company gets bigger. I passed 6 recruitment steps including 1) resume review, 2) scanning call with HR(APAC), 3) assignment submission, 4) call with sales development manager (potential boss in Berlin HQ), 5) call with Korea sales team (local subsidiary), and finally 6) call with sales development leader (U.S HQ). First of all, the whole process was well coordinated and fast paced with no question being overlapped among different interviewers. I was quite sure that the interview note was written in detail and each interviewer thoroughly reviewed it before the interview took the place. It is surprising that the communication was going on from 4 different regions - KR, APAC Japan, Germany, U.S. Plus, all the 5 steps excluding the resume review took only 2 weeks till the end! The feedback was never delayed, with all the necessary notes given in 1 ~ 2 days. One of the good things was that I could re-organize my experiences, personalities and sales strategies not only before each interview, but going through the each one. Second of all, everyone showed very high level of professionalism while providing me with sufficient chances to explain what I have and what I can show. Some of them could be my bosses and work as my report lines, but I could feel that they would show supportive leadership and communicative attitude rather than just directing challenges and goals. They were such good listeners. Last of all, they kept very good manner even after I deny the offer, which really made me contemplate on my final decision until the last minute. I am sure they must have been disappointed (I would, if I were in their shoes…), but it was such an optimistic farewell, which I believe I would not have with any other interviewers. They cheered me up and I did the same with genuine heart. I couldn’t stop me from sending “Thanks you” notes to all the members involved to recruit me. Now I am working in another IT company in Korea, but trying to be updated with how Adjust is doing. I am already a LinkedIn friend with one of the interviewers and we promised to meet when she visits Korea, and hopefully there are many things to share! Regardless of a company’s business size, its prosperity, or salary, most people reading this post would be willing to work with “good people”. Its business information can be easily googled while culture and people are not. That is why we adhere to information on job platforms like Glassdoor and LinkedIn – to find out how our potential coworkers are really like. I think Adjust is a right company possessing that DNA. I became a huge supporter of this company, hoping that numerous talented candidates apply for this company. I believe they can find a better candidate for the position I applied for, as he/she would feel the same as I did. Please keep your strength the same, Adjust members. What you have is so powerful that the brightest future lies ahead of you guys!
