I reached out to the person in charge of Emerging Markets personally on Linkedin about the open Account Executive position. The interview seemed to go well and he asked that I follow up with some questions showing my interest in the position. I did that immediately. Over the next month I followed up once a week to get an update. I was ghosted by the person in charge of emerging markets and never heard from him. I was looking for a new job due to the fact that the start-up I worked for went out of business due to lack of funding. As an applicant having to look for a new career, all I wanted was some follow-up to one of my emails.
