I was contacted via LinkedIn. A recruiter then called me and we talked about my experience teaching, and what I am looking for in a school. He told me by the end of the phone call that I had been invited to interview at AF to present a model lesson. We set up a call to talk about what to expect and go over my lesson. He gave me some really good feedback (make sure to state clear expectations from the beginning). The final interview went well. I got a tour of the school from a student, then presented my lesson to the leadership team. They gave me some good feedback that I implemented in my lesson. Afterward, I had to discuss what went well and what I would've done differently in the lesson. Finally, there was a formal interview at the end. I was told that they would be in touch by the end of the week but they called me a couple of hours after the interview to offer me the position.
