There was phone interview that was set up via e-mail. The phone interview helped the person gauge whether I would be a good fit for the school/network by asking me a series of questions about my organization style, my teaching experience (if any) and why i want to be a teacher. There was an in person demo lesson which i prepared for by going on the schools website and viewing how lessons were taught. I also received support in preparing for the demo lesson from the recruiter who gave me all the information I needed in order to be successful and know what type of lesson to teach. The final portion was a group interview with 2-3 other people from the school. During the group interview we debriefed my demo lesson and talked about what I would do what the worksheets i gave to the students. I said I would analyze the work by whether the student got it, didn't get it and was almost there and then i would think about how i would get the almost there kids to get there and the kids who didn't get it i would analyze why they didn't get it and how i could best support them to get it!

The interview process seemed to be quite simple and straight forward. I spoke with a recruiter after I applied and did a phone interview with them before setting up an interview for in person with the principal. The entire process was pretty straight forward and explained prior to the in person interview.
