I applied for the role of Lead Generation Trainee at this company. After clearing the first round, I was given an assignment that required me to generate leads from LinkedIn, including finding decision-makers and their email IDs. I completed the task sincerely with full effort. However, after submitting the assignment, I received no constructive feedback and no fair consideration for the internship. It felt more like the company’s intention was to use candidates to complete their lead generation tasks for free, rather than genuinely offering an opportunity. This kind of approach is unprofessional and unfair to applicants who invest their time and energy with the expectation of a legitimate opportunity. Transparency and respect for candidates’ efforts should be a priority in any recruitment process.
