I applied early August and received an email response late August from a recruiter asking me if I was still interested in the position. After responding to her email she set up a phone interview with me the next day. After the phone interview I was asked to take a personality test, update my online profile, and prepare for an in-person interview at the headquarters in Itasca, IL (this was all early September). I interviewed on a Tuesday (which seems to be when most of the interviews are scheduled) with a Manager and Director. One of them will ask an opening question concerning the drive in-I believe this is to measure if you have reliable transportation back and forth from the job. They both were engaged in the interview even though they were writing in my responses on a form. The interview questions were very generic. I asked very conservative follow-up questions (for example-employee engagement, challenges of new analysts, etc-nothing concerning turnover or bad criticism they would have to spin). I made sure to have eye contact and smile as much as possible. I received a call the day after from the recruiter saying that I got the job and I accepted the offer. Within a week I took a standard 6-panel drug test and agreed to a background check. It took 4 weeks for everything to clear. I had a lot of contact with my recruiter throughout the process and HireVue, the third party organization used to do my drug/background screenings. Focus exclusively on fraud-how your experience, goals relate to fraud or data analysis. They do not care about your interest beyond that. If you are a person of color, manage your difference. Most likely you will be interview by a white person in leadership who will be trying to figure out how your difference can be leveraged as an asset (language translation, geographic understandings, etc) within the role. Finally, these people are very vocal with their body language. If they believe you are worthy enough for the role-you'll know. I'm rating this as a difficult interview because they are not open, transparent, and consistent throughout the process which is bad for the candidate (makes you unsure about your standing) and does not contribute to modern hr practices (I know because I use to work in human capital).
