The recruiting manager asked for a phone interview and available time slots. The same day, I provided several time slots with the option to confirm whether any worked or to see if we needed to reschedule. I received no response. A few days later, I emailed again to check in. No response. I wondered whether he would call during any of the timeslots I had offered and was just too busy to confirm. He didn't. I don't know whether this is the company's doing or the recruiting manager. However, in my experience, I have never before seen a company or recruiter do this. It is completely unprofessional and wastes everyone's time. It also makes me feel that the company is not reputable, does not value the time of potential candidates, and ultimately would not be enjoyable to work with or for. I'm willing to give the benefit of the doubt to people, but their recruiting contact has shown nothing to believe that this is the place to be. It's not a personal attack on that person, but I sure hope he doesn't represent all that Accela has to offer.
