This was a really disappointing lack of an interview process. I had a really good conversation with a recruiter who told me she was going to schedule a time for me to speak with one of the VP's. The next day I send a thank you email for her time and to ask if the VP needs anything before our discussion. A few days go by and I don't get an answer, so I send a follow up email. Another week goes by and I send another follow up. Two weeks after my initial discussion with the recruiter, I get a generic "we will not be proceeding with your application at this time" email. I'm really more upset with the fact that I spoke with a real person and they couldn't be bothered to send an email with an explanation for the change direction. It really comes down to a lack of professional or empathy.

Recruiter reached out to me about the role and was very excited after our first phone call. Talked to the hiring manager twice who then wanted to meet in person. After not hearing from him for a couple of days I followed up several times with both the recruiter and the hiring manager who completely ghosted me. Unresponsive and unprofessional. Given the Glassdoor reviewed it looks like I dodged a bullet.
