Timeline was quite long from the time the indication of a vacancy was mutually discussed. Root of the opening was a referral and once he HR took over, the standard process of interview was applicable. Thankfully lot of communication over the email was acceptable so although the timeline was long, personal legwork was fairly reasonable.
