You fill out a computerized application in-store. They branch manager or assistant manager calls, and expresses interest, and conducts a short phone interview. You are then asked to come to a group interview with other potential employees, where the policies of the company are explained, and then the interviewer asks a long series of questions to all who attend.

If asked by management to change or augment your wardrobe to primarily Abercrombie clothing, or like brands without visible tags, would you be able to do so?
One on one individual interview that encourages you to dress the part for the image of Abercrombie. Group interviews allow you share your thoughts while bouncing off of each others’ input.

A manager sat a group of us down outside the store somewhere within the mall. They asked specific questions about the Abercrombie style and brand. They didn't ask much about the candidates individually. This was many years ago, so I'm sure it's different now.
