J'ai postulé via un recruteur. J'ai passé un entretien chez AVEVA (Philadelphia, PA) en juin 2024
Entretien
- First round with HR
- Second Round of technical questions - they grilled me on a lot of things, especially REST APIs, didn't leave enough time for my own questions
- Third round - 3 hour gauntlet of system design, behavioral, and coding. System Design the interviewer focused a lot on infrastructure and database partitioning/scaling. I told him I knew very little of those things, but he did not tailor the interview to my level. Behavioral was ok. Coding round they only left half an hour for the actual coding, which I think was a problem that involved BFS, but I'm not super well-versed in that and struggled. I thought out loud but the interviewers did not offer any guidance or coaching - felt like I was talking to a wall.
Didn't feel like a very friendly place that was interested in fostering growth of their employees. Just completely a "Are you good enough for us?" kind of vibe.
