      Overall just a subpar experience. From how it was organized to the interviewing skills of the interviewers. The interactions with the talent team were bizarre in the sense that I never corresponded to the same person twice, I was asked to attend an interview planned more than a month in advance and the invite link was provided at this stage with no calendar invite attached and no follow up reminder. Which is not a terrible thing, it is just inconvenient especially in the context that my standard experience has been for the talent person to make it very easy for the candidate at any step of the way. The interview was also strange, and I think it might have to do more with this particular position. I didn't get the feeling that the people interviewing me were experts in the topic they were interviewing for. They did not have SEM background and I got the feeling that their team has not been doing this for very long. The conversations went a bit haywire since we clearly did not use the same terminology. The technical question was poorly staged in my opinion because the way it was posed showed very little understanding of some very basic phenomena. This was then made worse by further difference in terminology. And to top it off the interviewers failed to led me to any useful outcome for the technical question. In my opinion there was no leading; worse, a shortage of patience for exploring options. Which was the point of the exercise. Just a strange experience. Not to mention that one of the interviewers had their camera on the other monitor so I got to talk to their profile. I cannot emphasize enough how subpar this experience was. I have aced three other technical interviews in this application session so I find it hard to believe it was entirely me.

      Question 1

      Very generic team work questions posed with no context. How to correct sample charging in post. (They've scanned an insulating material with no apparent precautions against charging. I'm no SEM expert, but from time to time I think about this question to just ask myself why)
