We did a virtual assessment interview and it lasted for 3 hours and 30 minutes (you will have the last hour if you get through the first round of the interview - which lasted for approximately 2 hours).
There were 6 candidates and 3 employees.
The first 2 hours consisted of an ice breaker, elevator pitch from the candidates, some introduction from the employees, explanation of the role, and there was a business case that we had to work on as a group (2 groups - 3 persons in each group). Definitely an interesting experience but a long one, but we were given the catch that we will know by the end of the day if we were successful or not.
I didn't get any update and of course, I emailed a follow-up email. I mean, after spending a hefty amount of hours on an interview, the least you want is to be informed if you get the job or not. But no, there is still no update even after more than a week of the promised update.
Overall, it was an interesting experience but ended with less professionalism on their part and it left a sour taste in the mouth.
