I applied online, the overall process is very long, after 2 weeks of application, I was sent the link for online assessments and video interview. After 3 months I was asked to repeat the video interview because there were some technical issues in the first one. anyway, I recorded the interview again. A week later was contacted with HR, about my availability for certain locations to which I responded. A day later she asked me about my visa status, which was obviously expired because as an international student in UK, you only get one for a year, and at the time I applied, I had a 4 months time in my student visa limit, which was already mentioned in my Visa, as attached with online job application.. After knowing this, they simply rejected me. I consider it as a bad experience because first they took extremely long to respond, and then rejected me not because of my qualifications, but because of Visa status, and I am 100% sure that a company like AECOM can easily provide Visa sponsorship to international applicants who have studied in UK and meet the job qualifications. Thus disappointed!
