I was contacted by a recruiter. The recruiter indicated that the first screening would be technical and also for a cultural fit. I then had a technical interview with an ADT member. I waited over a week, then I reached out to the recruiter. The recruiter told me that they decided not to move forward.
The job was a perfect match for my background. I was exactly correct with every question asked. I was very kind and patient to an interviewer that did not have a complete set of English language skills. Other than discrimination, I have no answer for why they did choose me for the next round. The discrimination was, in my opinion, based on age, national origin, or veteran status. I have no idea which one it was -- but it certainly was discrimination.
