No earlier direct communication with AC until the day of interview. I spoke with a vendor/recruiter a couple of times. They briefed me that Acord will skip technical screen and instead want to do in person interview. I drove for 2hrs to get there. Interviewer was polite but office was pretty much empty. Interview room was dark and not properly lit. Interviewer came with a few resumes on hand. Interview was only for 15min. My best guess is I probably was not the best fit for what they were looking for, but everything was laid out on my resume. They could have done a phone screen if they were not sure. It was a waste of time. No one can infer about an applying candidate, background and skills in a matter of 15min. That was very painful. I was scheduled to meet with this person and another for a total of 1hr or so. However, the interviewer mentioned the other interviewer forwarded it to him and that there is no one else I need to see or wait for. I didn't think I sucked in those 15min to decide on my candidacy.
