J'ai postulé en personne. Le processus a pris 1 jour. J'ai passé un entretien chez ABC360 (Iloilo) en sept. 2016
Entretien
The interview process is divided into 5 parts:
(1) Grammar Exam, (2) Pronunciation Exam, (3) Initial Interview, (4) Demo Class, (5) Final Interview
The grammar exam was challenging, as well as the pronunciation exam. However, the interviewer was very patient and helpful and taught me how to pronounce some words that I mispronounced. During the initial interview, I was asked to do a quick demo of my teaching ability and afterward the interviewer gave me some tips on how to improve. The Demo Class portion of the interview process was by far the most challenging, because I was only given a limited amount of time to prepare (I think it was 20 minutes), but the interviewer coached me on what to do and how to give the lesson.

It was short and simple. I was asked a few questions about my educational and work background and then was asked to do a short demo lesson while the recruiter acted as a Chinese child.

You need to make a video not more than 1 min - upload it. Send them internet Speedtest and CV. Then interview. I got a really poor impression from the interview: When the interviewer came online she did not introduce herself, and seemed annoyed that when I gave my name and I politely asked for hers.
She would not show her face during the call, which was just creepy. Like being watched on security camera. I asked if there was a technical problem my end, but she told me her latest version of Skype did not allow for video calls showing her face. I’m unsure why as she was ready 30 mins early, asking when I'd be ready. She did not take the time to be professional and courteous and ensure she could be seen. It felt like a power trip. I said at the time in a smiling and friendly way that this was a pretty unusual recruitment situation.
The recruiter then said she A. Didn’t have my CV and B. Hadn’t read it – she wanted me to ‘tell it to her’. This seemed a pretty unprofessional thing to admit (applicant goes to effort applying - recruiter casually claims not to have seen any application materials). When I tried to clarify (I had both supplied it and given a verbal precis in the requested video), she repeated her claim not to have it.
- She later clarified in an email to me that she did actually have it.

She asked me to recite my CV. She said she didn't have it (despite my CV being the reason I'd been given an interview).
