I submitted my resume through the 8th Light job board. The first step was contact by a hiring manager. The next step was a technical skills assessment. The hiring manager was cordial, welcoming and easy to talk to. I was given some history of the company and general goals of the position. Then I was asked about my work history as it applied to the position. After the hiring manager interview, I received the technical assessment to be performed on my own time, at my own convenience, with the requirements to return my results within 48 hours; not to spend more than 1 hour on the assessment; and not to share either the questions or my answers, I did the assessment over a weekend and received my feedback within about 3 business days.
