Got an email back about a week after I applied, had a short information session/casual interview over Zoom, then an in-person interview and lab tour with my researcher. Straightforward, communicated from the beginning that it was a position with limited hours that continued over the school year.

I was taken on a short 20-30 tour of the labs with 3 people who I would be working with (supervisors and full-time engineers) where I was told what the responsibilities of the tech aide would be. Following this, I was taken into a room for a 30 minute interview.

I had an initial phone interview with the hiring manager about lab experience and status in school. The on-site interview was a tour of the lab and a few simple questions.

Entretien
I applied online and received an email about a week later asking for a video call interview. I interviewed with 4 of the engineers in the lab and spoke with them for about 25 minutes. I was offered the position a few days later.
