    Avantages

    Very nice and young environment at the office.
    You can tele-work one day per week.

    Inconvénients

    Do not value people.
    Ask to work overtime without payment.
    Very bad HR policies: They only hire interns to make the work and pay them €500/month and give them a lot of responsibilities. Additionally, they promise them to be hired after the internship period but that never happens.
    High difference between top management and staff in terms of salaries.
    Very flat structure which makes you impossible to get promoted.
    Never give training to employees.

    Avantages

    You get interviewed by at least 5 persons of your will-be office prior to get an offer.

    Inconvénients

    The management has no idea of what it is doing. A former IT technical consultant don't always make a good manager.

    You have to be skilled in office politics to survive there. Gossip, rumors, backstabbing are normal and tolerated behaviours.

    You have to make friends with the management if you want to have a chance to be listened.

    How many hours spent on useless meeting, the best one being a 2-hours-meeting on the number of cups needed per month for the water fountain ... (true story).

    Better getting and keeping Belgian staff (who actually knows Belgian law & market) rather than "importing" Spanish expats ...

    You'll hear a number of interesting stories about the company like company university, employee owning shares ... Forget them ! You won't hear about them after the interview !

    Last but not least: the famous "everis model". Everyone talks about it, every Spanish employee is so proud & complient about it, it's like the Holy book of the company.

    True fact: you have to comply with it even if you have never had a chance to get it explained.

    Run !

    Get trained in management or hire real/proven managers.

    Stop imposing your (Spanish) values abroad.

    Wage recognition is a bit slow in view of the productivity of your talents

    Avantages

    everis has a very diverse workforce and puts there money where their mouth is when it comes to benefits. There is a lot of potential for growth if you are willing to put in the effort. I personally have grown so much professionally in only a year and am excited for year 2 at everis. People of all levels are here to help and want to see you grow professionally.

    Inconvénients

    I think the proposal strategy and the reliance on only 3 clients is a poor approach. I think there should be a stronger initiative within business development to gain business with other clients (both federal and commercial) and really diversify the book of business. The clients everis works with can be extremely demanding; this isn't uncommon, however I feel everis has an obligation to support their employees more than accepting rude behavior from the clients.

    Don't rely on only 3 clients. If one goes, profitability does as well.

    The team of professionals is extremely competent and with deep knowledge of the market.

    Inconvénients

    Career opportunities are not very common, mainly when you come from outside the company.

    Avantages

    Great benefits. The main project is a great challenge. Some employees are very capable and you can learn from them.

    Inconvénients

    They don't value people and ask to work overtime without payment as a normal part of the job.
    Not enough projects in this country make the job unstable.

    People should be valued according to the results of the tasks assigned, not according to the current standards that demand working overtime and performing tasks that the position does not allow.
