Massive comp packages. Tend to hire smart and capable people. Huge amount of personal freedom and independence to execute your work on your own terms and grow personally. Lavish (though often excessive) offices, parties, off sites, benefits and travel perks. Get to work with an incredibly diverse and interesting group of people from all over the globe.
Sometimes those good hires are not good employees, but the performance review process is a joke and it allows people to fester and contribute very little as long as they stroke the right egos or make friends with the right people. People can repeatedly fail and break everything they touch but still receive promotions. Leadership has been slow to make decisions and often takes half measures. The proof is in the pudding - no innovation and no new games for over 5 years now. They've grown increasingly less transparent. Now resorting to "soft" layoffs and to slashing comp while saying that they are not. Zero opportunities for professional growth within the company outside of what you do on your own time. A "flat" management structure that applies to everyone but the leads, who are free to make decisions in a vacuum and without feedback. HR team is made up of people that lack prior HR experience. They often botch simple tasks. Burnout and travel take a heavy personal toll on many employees.1

If you are liked by the right people you can have great freedom in your role and even start new teams. Bonus compensation is great, can be Silicon Valley levels. Lot's of great, kind people work there, until they are crushed by burnout, or heavy handed management.
Staff frequently go on sick leave or leave the company due to burnouts. Company does all it can to protect it's reputation (and the reputation of leads that are part of the boys club there), by paying people to leave when it can rather than layoff staff or settle disputes involving a leads behavior. Outdated, cumbersome tech and lack of innovation in recent years has lead to a feeling that the company is falling behind.1

I often think about: what would I change in the company if I could? For all my previous employer I had a few things I would change right away. At supercell, even after many years working here, it's hard to find a great answer. I truly believe the vast majority of employees try their best. That include leadership team that try is best to offer an enjoyable, empathic, caring, welcoming, humane and trusting work environnement.
The one thing I would change relates to the latest direction change that happened in the company towards more short / mid term vision when it comes to project and revenue. It link to a shift in the driver seat of game project. Before they were being truly driven by the team itself. Now it feel the business ops Co-pilot is more and more invested and takes credits for all positive impacts while its not clear that are the results of his work, and doesn't take any blame when things don't work out so well for the game (it's not his fault its the market). Honestly it's the first time I see this kind of behaviour at supercell and I sure hope it won't last.3
