Avantages
Brunch Wednesdays, after work drinks, regular team events and an overall warm and open atmosphere in the team, but also office space, are just some of the benefits of working in a Luma team. As Luma is a fast-growing company you get hands on in many different areas allowing you take get a more holistic understanding of the business and processes. This also enables you to connect with colleagues with different skill sets who are open to new ideas and offer different perspectives, creating an environment to try new ideas or implement new technologies to create meaningful impact within the company. Given that Luma is scaling up rapidly there is a lot of room to grow aside the company- both professionally and personally.
Inconvénients
Being a company that is growing at an accelerating pace, comes with its challenges. Going from a start-up to more scalable solution requires more standardisation and documentation of processes. During this transitioning period things move slower than I would like as more robust procedures need to be put in place as well as mindset needing to adapt to the needs of the growing business. During my time at Luma I have started to see a shift in this approach with both the organisational changes and new hires.
